Delivery Methods
We offer both standard and room-of-choice delivery options:
- We do not carry large or heavy products upstairs.
- Lifting is at the delivery driver’s discretion and limited to in-room ground floor only.
Delivery Restrictions
At this time, we do not ship to:- Northern Ireland
- Isle of Man
- Channel Islands
- BFPO addresses
Transport Damage
Upon receiving your order:- Inspect the outside of the package and contents immediately.
- If damage is visible, refuse delivery.
- Inner packaging
- Shipping label
- Damaged items
- Send all images to sales@thepiershop.co.uk within 4 days of delivery.
Prompt reporting allows us to process claims with carriers, though your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Missed Deliveries & Storage
If a delivery attempt fails and the item is returned to us, we’ll contact you to reschedule. Additional storage or redelivery fees may apply if:- You do not collect the parcel
- You do not respond to re-delivery contact attempts
Special Access Requirements
To ensure smooth delivery, please inform us in advance of any special delivery requirements:- Stairs or narrow entryways
- Gated access or restricted roads
Please email any relevant details to sales@thepiershop.co.uk. If delivery is deemed unsafe or inaccessible, the driver reserves the right to decline the delivery. In such cases, a redelivery charge may apply.
